When purchasing a Duty Free Car through SJS you can choose from Different Types of import and export Services.

All options will utilize your diplomatic status and privileged organization to facilitate a tax free importation of Duty Free Vehicles.

DOOR TO PORT

Our Japan office will acquire a vehicle according to your specification and deliver to the port of your choice in the same condition the vehicle was purchased.

The following car importation services are included in the price agreed.

Our Japan office will arrange :

Procuring a vehicle according to your specifications.
Transport vehicle to the port in Japan.
Process customs clearance in Japan.
Deregister the vehicle in Japan.
Arrange shipping to the port of your choice.

Deliver all shipping documents to you, to start the import process.

DOOR TO DOOR

Our Japan office will acquire a vehicle according to your specification and deliver directly to your door.

The following car importation services are included in the price agreed.

Our Japan office will arrange :

Procuring of an accident free vehicle for you.
In-Land transportation of your vehicle from the place of procurement to the port of Yokohama in Japan.
Process customs clearance in Japan.
Documentation and deregistration in Japan.
Arrange shipping to Port in the country of your choice.

Our office will arrange :

Customs Clearance in the country of your choice.
Transportation from the port of your choice to our Pre-Delivery-Inspection serivce Center.
Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspection as well as fully service your vehicle.
Repair any dents and scratches.
Ensure tyres are in good condition and replace if not roadworthy.
Replace Japanese radio system with International CD player / radio.
Ensure vehicle has spare wheel, vehicle jack and tool kit.
Deliver vehicle with 2 remote keys.
Polish and clean the vehicle to retail ready condition.
Deliver the vehicle to anywhere.
Arrange necessary documents for your vehicle registration in collaboration with your admin staff.
SJS will provide a 3 year or 100,000KMs which ever occurs first warranty for any NEW vehicle.
SJS will provide a 3 or 6 months USED vehicle warranty.

We require a deposit to confirm your order which is 100% REFUNDABLE unless the vehicle has already been purchased on your behalf

Once the chassis number has been provided, the outstanding balance is required within 3 working days.

*SJS is not liable for any banking fees or transfer fees which may or may not occur.

DUTY FREE VEHICLE IMPORT SAMPLE TIMELINE -Thailand-

Car Importation Service Flow.

Step 1

CONTRACT

Customer sign sales contract & customer to provide 2 signed Colour Copies of your Diplomatic Passport

Step 2

CONTACT

Customer to provide Name and Contact of her/his Admin Staff to prepare importation service.

Step 3

ADMIN INFORMATION

Customer to provide Consignee Information from his/her Admin

Step 4

DEPOSIT 30%

Customer pay deposit as agreed in Sales Contract ( CASH )

Step 5

PURCHASE ORDER

SJS Thailand will process your Order with our Japan Office the following working day

Step 6

PROCUREMENT

SJS Japan Office will Procure the Vehicle up to the Specifcations & Price agreed in the Sales Contract

Step 7

CHASSIS NUMBER

Once our Japan Office procured your Vehicle, our Thailand Office will provide you with Chassis Number of your car along with the Outstanding Invoice.

Step 8

SETTLEMENT OF OUTSTANDING AMOUNT

In order to comply with local laws and regulations SJS has to prove full ownership of your Car by you at time of import into Thailand. We there for require full outstanding payment to be settled prior to the Vessel transporting your car sailing out of the Port of Yokohama in Japan.

Step 9

EXPORT PROCESS

SJS Japan Office will prepare all export & customs documents in preparation of exportation from Japan and arrange transportation of your car to the Port of Yokohama in order to prepare its shipment to Thailand.

Step 10

SHIPMENT

SJS Japan will Load and Lash your Car on the Ship for safe transportation to Port of Laem Chabang in Thailand.
( approx. 10 days shipping time )

Step 11

IMPORT PROCESS

Once your Admin has returned us all relevant Documents (DP1) after receiving them from MOFA. SJS will forward these Documents to Bangkok Customs Office in order to apply for Form 32.

Step 12

PREPARATION CUSTOMS CLEARANCE

SJS will take all relevant Documents to Customs Office in Bangkok to apply for Delivery Order of Vehicle

( receive original Documents )

Step 13

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE

Once Form 32 was issued SJS witll proceed to clear you car out of port of Laem Chabang.

Step 14

RELEASE OF VEHICLE

SJS will clear your Vehicle from port and arrange in land transportation of your car to our Bangkok Location.

Step 15

PRE DELIVERY INSPECTION

Once your Vehicle reached our Bangkok location, we will conduct a Pre Delivery inspection and Fully service your Vehicle ensuring we will deliver your car to you in showroom like condition.

Step 16

DELIVERY OF VEHICLE

Once Pre Delivery Inspection and Service of your Car has been completed SJS will deliver the Car to your door step SJS will provide all original documents along with the Vehicle at time of delivery.

Step 17

STORAGE INVOICE

SJS will forward original port storage invoice to you after release of your Vehicle from port and prior to vehicle delivery to you.
The Storage Fee is to be settled in Cash at time and place of delivery of your car.
